On September 21, 2024, in celebration of World Cleanup Day, FINCA RDC participated in a waste cleanup community service, bringing together over 1,000 people from diverse backgrounds.
This initiative, led by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands 🇳🇱 in collaboration with the NGO Logos Premier and the UN Global Compact in the DRC, of which FINCA RDC is a member.
Our participation in this event reflects our commitment to a sustainable and clean environment but also to reinforce our position as a triple bottom line institution.
Beyond the cleanup effort, this event served as an opportunity to raise awareness about the importance of environmental stewardship within the communities we serve. By actively engaging with local partners and residents, we aim to inspire lasting change and collective responsibility for waste management and environmental protection.
