As part of its commitment to the environment and education, FINCA DRC took part in the electronic and electrical waste (WEEE) collection initiative launched by the Global Compact, aimed at supporting students from ISTA(Higher Institute of Applied Techniques).

Following its contribution to the national WEEE conference organized by Vodacom in November 2024, FINCA this time gathered and made available several decommissioned electronic devices, which were collected on April 24, 2025, at our premises and redistributed to students on April 25.

This action will certainly help reduce our carbon footprint by giving a second life to electronic equipment and avoiding landfill disposal, while also supporting the students’ learning.
