At FINCA DRC we believe that responsible finance goes hand in hand with climate action, so, on World Earth Day, FINCA DRC renew its engagement to protect the environment by deciding to plant over 35,000 trees in 2025. This initiative is part of a concrete ecological dynamic, aimed at actively combating global warming and preserving local biodiversity in response to our responsibility as an active member of GABV and Global Impact DRC.

16 staff from 8 Kinshasa branches traveled more than 40 km from the capital Kinshasa to the city of Luila in the province of Central Kongo.

A big thank you to our faithful partner invested in environmental causes, Institut BOBOKOLI, for the support on choosing the planting sites but as well as the engagement of their students in the process.

It was a great joy to see how much the trees planted two years ago are growing in the calm of the Kongolese savannah.
