On the occasion of World Refugee Day on June 20, 2024, FINCA DRC expressed its solidarity with the displaced people of Don Bosco camp.The camp is home to more than 26,000 households, including many refugees who have never been able to return home due to the differente armed conflicts in the region for more than 30 years.

We distributed essential supplies, including basic necessities, to help families meet their immediate needs.

In addition to material aid, we will soon launch a financial education program to equip refugees and displaced persons with the knowledge and tools necessary to survive and improve their economic situation despite the challenges associated with their displacement.

FINCA DRC remains committed to supporting vulnerable populations. Alongside financial education, we will explore other means of assistance to help these communities regain stability and build a safer and more prosperous future.
