FINCA RDC participates in the 18th Annual Meeting of the Global Alliance for Banking on Values.

Behind every loan, every account opened and every financial solution, there is above all a human story : a shopkeeper who develops his business, a mother who invests in her children’s education, an entrepreneur who transforms an idea into an opportunity.

It is this vision of finance that works for people that was at the heart of the 18th Annual Meeting of the Global Alliance for Banking on Values, held in Santo Domingo.

At this international meeting, Ms. Mirela Pekmezi, CEO of FINCA DRC, took part in the discussions alongside leaders from more than 60 organizations and 34 countries, all committed to building a more inclusive, equitable and sustainable financial system.

The discussions focused on a key principle: finance should not only manage money, it should serve people.

From financial inclusion to technological innovation, sustainable finance and social impact, the discussions highlighted a common goal: to enable more communities to access economic opportunities and build a better future.

For FINCA DRC, this participation is part of a clear mission: to use finance as a lever for social transformation and community development.

Because beyond the numbers, it’ s the lives we transform that matter most.
