At the press conference on April 30, the general management presented the results for the year 2024, marking a decisive milestone in the history of our institution: more than USD 100 million in credit portfolio, a first in our sector.

“The year 2024 was marked by a significant expansion, confirming our desire to contribute to sustainable, inclusive and innovative development,” said Mirela Pekmezi, Chief Executive Officer.

In 2024, FINCA DRC Congo strengthened its national presence with more than 1700 FINCA express bank agents, consolidating the largest active network of bank agents in the DRC, and continued its expansion to the most remote areas, where the needs are often most urgent.

Our commitment to the planet has come to fruition: 50,000 trees planted with strong environmental partners in support of climate resilience and sustainable development.

The year was also marked by the historic visit of our founder, John Hatch, who came from Washington to salute the remarkable progress made by FINCA DR Congo and reaffirm its social vision.

These results are a testament to the strength of our business model, the trust of our customers and the hard work of our teams. We are now looking to the future with ambition, ready to push the limits of social and financial impact in the DRC even further.
