On the occasion of National Tree Day, FINCA DRC has chosen to celebrate this symbolic date alongside the children of Cres des Orphelins, affirming its commitment to environmental awareness. In a country heavily affected by deforestation, this initiative aims to remind people of the vital role that trees play in protecting soils, the climate and the quality of life of communities.

Armed with seedlings, the children and FINCA DRC teams participated together in a planting and learning session on the importance of preserving our environment. This moment of exchange made it possible to transmit to the youngest the values of ecological responsibility and respect for nature.

In addition, FINCA DRC did not come empty-handed : as the end-of-year festivities approached, the institution brought the children basic necessities to offer them an additional moment of comfort, in line with its values of solidarity and proximity.

Through this citizen action, FINCA DRC reaffirms its desire to contribute to sustainable development and to encourage the next generation to become stewards of the environment. Planting a tree today is sowing hope for tomorrow.
