On Saturday, September 20, 2025, FINCA DRC once again distinguished itself among the institutions committed to the protection of the environment and collective responsibility through its participation in World Cleanup Day.

This event was led in Kinshasa by the UN Global Compact Network DRC, in collaboration with C&S Expertise SA, River Cleanup DRC, Kinshasa City Hall, FINCA DRC, and other members of the network, with the valuable support of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

At the same time, in Lubumbashi, FINCA DRC also took part in the health walk, mobilizing several local actors combined with a plastic waste collection operation, under the watchful eye of the Lubumbashi City Hall, in the presence of the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

These actions demonstrate FINCA DRC’s concrete commitment to the community, the planet, and the values of sustainable development. By actively participating in this initiative, FINCA reminds us that responsible finance is not limited to financial inclusion, but also extends to the preservation of the environment and the promotion of exemplary civic behavior.
