Our mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo began in May 2003. At that time, we offered one product – village banking loans for women — and we operated exclusively in Kinshasa.

Since those early days, FINCA DR Congo has remained resilient, continuously innovated, and maintained our focus on expanding financial inclusion. Today we are proud to operate 23 branches and more than 1,700 FINCA eXpress Full Option Points, making responsible and convenient banking services an option for more than 350,000 customers, some of whom live in the most remote parts of the country.

Our CLICK application gives customers the ability to open account and start saving, apply for loans, transfer funds, make payments, and purchase instantly, wherever they are. Additionally, our free and reliable financial education empowers clients and assists them in achieving their financial goals.

Client Protection Certified

FINCA DRC has earned silver level Client Protection Certification, granted by global rating agency MFR, based on guidelines provided by Cerise+SPTF. This certification indicates that FINCA DRC meets all standards necessary for adequate Client Protection found in Cerise+SPTF’s Universal Standards for Social Performance Management and demonstrates progress toward advanced practice.
